Author Gump is an artist with a smile and a positive mind. He is a former scientist majoring in analytical chemistry, with creative abilities and great insight. He scientifically researched TMA (toned metal art) and established various techniques to utilize this phenomenon as art. He creates works with his own technique of toning metals such as silver, copper, and stainless steel, and has artistic inspiration. He does not use any pigments or dyes in the creation of this artwork.
Comparing his hand-made works to general toning works, they are distinctly different. All of his toned works reflect the artist's will and spirit, and are clean and beautiful.
He has been active in Korea for several years. He is active on Korea's largest portal, Naver, and famous Korean precious metal collectors know his name and works. (NAVER cafe name: silver factory).He creates another beauty by geometrically arranging variously toned silver coins or metal pieces. The arrangement of units revealed in his work reflects the principles of the microscopic world.
