This striking Silver Maple Leaf coin features the widely recognized maple leaf design. Traditionally all silver Maple Leafs are struck out of the Ottawa Mint, but on this release the Royal Canadian Mint decided to use the Winnipeg Mint for the second time ever on a precious metal coin. This is a never-before-seen or produced Tailored Finish. The visual effect on this maple leaf design is incredible. The coin has a soft satin finish, while the background of the coin are designed with fine, straight lines running up at a 45-degree angle on Maple Leaf side and running down at a 45-degree angle on the Queen Elizabeth side.
