This 37.97 mm diameter 2021 Maple Leaf bullion coin contains 1 Troy oz. The coin is struck with an innovative micro-engraved maple leaf security mark with "21" at the center. The coin is minted with the additional security feature of a thin radial line pattern on the obverse and reverse. Obverse: The obverse features a right facing image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II created by Canadian portrait artist Susanna Blunt.

The radial line patterned field is inscribed "ELIZABETH II, " "5 DOLLARS" and 2021. Reverse: The reverse depicts a meticulously detailed maple leaf, with the dated security mark to the right of the stem.
