2021 10oz Silver Bullion'Magnificent' Maple Leaf Coin
RCM 2021 10oz Magnificent Maple Leaves Coin. With the issue of this 10oz Magnificent Silver Maple, the RCM is expanding its bullion coin offerings with another spectacular coin.
This maple differs from the classic silver maple leaf by having three leaves of the silver maple tree from which it is named depicted on the front. The maple leaf was designed by Celia Godkin and her initials are on the lower right side. The year of issue is also stamped there.
This beautiful bullion coin comes with special, visual security features. For example, a laser engraved mini maple leaf on the back. With this unique innovation, the RCM guarantees additional security. The laser mark changes annually and shows the last two numbers of the year of the mintage. A second security feature are the embossed, extremely fine radial lines. The coin is an odd size at 75.25mm and the RCM were unhelpful advising me where to find a replacement capsule. The closest was an Air Tite and the last few pictures show the gap between the coin and the capsule.I have also put up a picture of this coin next to a 10oz 2021 Britannia coin for scale.
